Professor of Materia Medica (Univ Aberdeen). Med consultant (of late have devoted all tiem to university appointment). One asistant (Muir) has left, the second attached mil hosp [military hospital] has hardly any time at disposal apart from his duties there and therefore university work devolves upon myself almost entirely. Am supervising a univ red cross working party which I have organised in my department; if my services are required [_?] if possible: this would free me for 2-3 hours in mornings. I represent Aberdeen University on the Medical Council.
At the call of the local War Committee for my area, as instructed by the
Scottish Medical Service Emergency Committee, I am prepared to render the service
or services marked above. This offer is subject to the condition that, in the event
of such service requiring me to leave my present work, I am enabled to make
arrangements for having it carried in during my absence.
